1. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

a. ISM will offer support towards Warranty through “Reimbursement of value of Spare Parts” replaced under warranty, within the limits specified herewith

b. The Customer should avail all the periodic services at service centres as per below mention schedule

c. Only manufacturing defects are covered under warranty & it is limited to repairing or replacing of those defective parts only

e. The customer should avail all the periodic services as per the recommended periodic maintenance schedule

1. LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTY

WARRANTY SHALL NOT APPLY

a. If the vehicle is not serviced as per the recommended service schedule described in the manual or if the vehicle is not serviced at the distributor / dealer service network
b. If any parts / assembly of the vehicle is tampered / altered / replaced or repaired at the workshops other than the distributor or dealer service network
c. If any failure occurred due to extraneous reasons like over loading or abuse of the vehicle
d. If the vehicle is used for any competition or race and or for attempting to set up any record
e. Any natural wear and tear, including without limitations, aging
f. Damage resulting from modification, fitting of the accessories other than those recommended by the company
g. Insignificant factors such as noise, vibration, fluid seepage which do not affect the performance of the vehicle
h. Vehicle not used according to the instructions given in owner manual
i. Maintenance arising due to misuse or adulteration of oil, fuel or use of non-genuine spares
j. Damages caused by any accident

2. WHAT IS NOT COVERED:

a. Parts requiring replacement like bulbs, spark plug, control cables, tyres, tubes, paint, upholstery, rubber parts, gaskets, filters etc. and parts under normal wear and tear will not be covered. Similarly, routine maintenance operations like brake and clutch adjustments, cleaning of fuel systems, engine tune up or any other periodic maintenance will not be covered under this warranty policy
b. Parts of the vehicle that have been subjected to misuse, accident, negligent treatment, or racing will not be covered. Also, parts of the vehicles that have been altered and/ or modified will not be covered
c. This warranty is only for parts replaced. ISM will not be liable in the matter of consequential loss or damage caused due to the failure of parts and any product liability or any other claims arising out of such failures
